1962:

Established operations in Hong- Kong

1972-73:

He envisioned the pulse of diamond trading and marked the beginning of a revolution in the history of KGK Group. Today, KGK is one of the few leaders in the diamond sector with diamond-manufacturing units in India, South Africa, Russia & Botswana

1997:

KGK Group was awarded the status of Sightholder by De Beers and it became an authorized bulk purchaser of rough diamonds. Also in this year, Mr. Kothari established and took under his wings Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre-Jaipur, providing ultra-modern facilities, invaluable care, treatment, and attention to hundreds of patients at a time.

2005:

To transform individuals into leaders, he initiated training centers in his manufacturing units, where over 4000 personnel have been trained for the Gems and Jewellery industry making them self-reliant.

2007:

As a way of giving back to his city- Jaipur, KGK Group undertook the initiative to uplift Jal Mahal restoration and revitalization of Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur for heritage conservation.

2008:

Navrattan Kothari was awarded Maharaja Sawai Bhavani Singh Award for his much-appreciated work in the field of heritage conservation that began with the most talked-about Jal Mahal restoration and revitalization of Man Sagar Lake.

2012:

He was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Retail Jeweller India Awards.

2014:

KGK Diamonds signed long-term contracts with Russian miner Alrosa. Today, KGK’s status as De Beers Sightholder, Alrosa Alliance member, and Rio Tinto Select Diamantaire speaks volumes about the credibility and efficiency of their diamond operations ensuring nothing but the finest diamonds.

2016:

Received Excellence Award by Sarjan Group, Hong Kong
